hope you all had a great holiday and got insanely drunk on new years.

i just started classes for winter quarter yesterday @ OSU - thoroughly hating it. i've applied to cleveland institute for fall to see how much of a scholarship i can get. i am hoping it goes well, because i really miss being at an all-art school and would very much like to go back. '

another thing is that i'm going to get my hair done today. right now i have it in a platinum a-line, and i'd like to add some dark brown underneath to make it really edgy. i WISH i could add pink or turquoise or something, but my job doesn't permit it (though it's not like i'm there much anyway...). we shall see.

i got a kindle for christmas, and i've already read 3 books on it. what did you guys get?

i'm having a bit of an e-book dilemma. i simply cannot decide whether i want a kindle, or a sony pocket reader.

on one hand, the sony is cheaper, PINK, and you can download books from more places than just the sony store.
on the other hand, the kindle holds more books, has a built-in dictionary, has wifi, and apparently there are ways to go around the whole only-being-able-to-buy-books-from-amazon thing.

does anyone out there have a kindle or sony pocket reader? what do you think?

new moon rocked. kinda blah in parts (like the book was...) but idc. i loved it.

and i'm OBSESSED with the song that was playing while the wolves were chasing victoria through the woods. anyone know what i'm talking about? ahh. i'm listening to it right now.

i'm also working on a new moon watercolor. watercolors are so exhilarating! i love them. <3

so lately i've gotten back into drawing. for those who do not know, i was an illustration major for a year before making the switch to photography. i've just been filling up my sketchbook with teen titans (yes, i'm serious) fanart. i used to be SO INTO this show, when i was about 14-16 years old, but lost interest towards the end of the programs's reign.

currently i am illustrating my friend melissa's teen titans fan fic, bound to you. it's really good so i suggest you all check it out if you're interested in TT!

some TT illustrations will probably find their way on here along with my photography. since i can't find the pen to my super old tablet, and since the tablet/replacement pen is discontinued... i bought a refurbished small wacom bamboo tablet today! i'm super excited to get it - coloring/drawing with a mouse, let alone a LAPTOP TRACKPAD, is hell.


and just out of curiosity, what are you all being for halloween? i'm going to a super fun party after i shoot a wedding, and i'm being lady gaga, while my boyfriend is going as billy mays! random, right?

well guys, i just booked my first wedding! i'm scared shitless, but i think it will turn out alright because the bride and groom are pretty cool! i mean, they're having their wedding on halloween - i think that says enough. i'm super excited and nervous at the same time. *crosses fingers*

another exciting thing is that i'm doing a couples shoot with a couple i graduated with! it's going to be their 3-year anniversary and they just wanted some nice pictures of themselves to keep. it'll give me good practice for engagement-type shoots.
